  “This is an amazing place. I have used it on a few occasions for emergencies for my toy Poodle. They’re friendly, caring, attentive, and also they have a triage team that assesses your DOG situation prior to seeing a vet and there is no cost for this service. I have been very impressed. It’s great to know that you can take your pet 24 seven no matter what and someone will always see them. It’s great for Pet pawrents to know that there is a place that will care for your dog no matter what day or time it is and no matter what the emergency. Highly recommended.”

  “We visited the clinic 3:00am on Sunday morning. Lucky it wasn’t busy. Our Mainecoon is in palliative care fighting a battle with an aggressive melanoma cancer and due to medication changes was feeling a little under the weather. We saw Dr Shyan and she was amazing. We had seen 3 different vets with our cat, but she was the only one that took the time to actually explain what each of our cat Archie’s meds do and which are more beneficial for him. She did blood work which was cheaper than our vet and were ready in 20mins instead of a waiting period of a week. New meds were prescribed and they had correct cat doses- other vets have only had human meds which we had to separate into cat doses. It was definitely worth the $250 consultation fee! I highly recommend emergency vet’s if your cat is unwell or in a critical condition, not worth waiting for your vet to open in the morning to save on a consult fee. They have most things on hand to help your pet out when in distress. Dr Shyan called the following morning to see how Archie was our vet of 7 years never called once to see how he is doing. They gave up on him and wanted to put him down 7 months ago. There are 2 kinds of vets. The vet that sees dollar signs in your animal and the vet that really truly cares for the animal. Brilliant service!”

  “My dog Sass was admitted to SouthPaws just before Christmas extremely ill. She had had a c-section with had failed a week later and lost 1m of bowel. I had lost all faith in the care at my local emergency vet so travelled to Malvern with her as I'd heard they provided the best care. She was still extremely ill and not eating at all. She's a sensitive dog and wary of strangers so leaving her there was so hard but I had no choice. I really shouldn't have worried at all. The care she got while she was there was just amazing. I can't thank the team, and especially vet Lorna enough for saving her life. Lorna kept me updated and was so kind. When I visited Sass and saw how much Sass liked her I knew she was in the right place. Sass is making an amazing recovery now. She's eating fine and not losing weight. We're doing lots of conditioning and rehab but we're getting there. Sass can now play with her puppy and it looks like we might even get back to competing in agility by the end of the year which I didn't even dream was possible at the time. If my dogs ever need any emergency care in the future I'll always head to SouthPaws Malvern - no question.”

  “I cannot fault the care that Southpaws Malvern has given my sweet Lola during a very stressful time. She required TPLO surgery and they made the whole experience so easy. She was seen and operated on the same day within 3 days of calling. Although TPLO surgery comes at a cost Southpaws all inclusive package has saved us money in the long run with her follow up after operative care. Dr. Val was so beautiful with her and very patient making sure I understood what was involved with the surgery and communicated with me through every step of the way. Touch wood my animals don’t need their care again, however should they need it I wouldn’t take them anywhere else.”
