  “The colour, texture, sewing of, cutting out pattern and wearing of this stunning emerald green 100% silk dupion was magnificient. I used a steam iron set to silk and have washed dress and stole in front load machine set on cold water. There was no fabric shrinkage. When I pressed the dress and stole after it was washed and dried (outside) I sprayed it with water as I pressed it - very easy to do. As always I tested a piece of fabric first for washing, shrinkage, ironing and sewing - stunning fabric. I designed, made pattern and constructed a dress with a semifitted princess line bodice, bell sleeves and 8 gore (very flared) dress skirt, centre back invisible zipper with hook closure at top decorated with a glittery silver button. Dress was fully lined with black 100% cotton voile with 2 levels of gathered back tulle. I used horsehair braid in the hem of dress and sleeves. I also used a Vogue pattern to make a matching stole - I used 3 of the same glittery silver buttons at the closure of stole. I teamed the outfit off with glittery silver shoes and glittery silver bag. I made this special outfit for my sons wedding on 9/8/2025. I felt very glamorous and received so many compliments. The silk dupion was delightful to wear, light and swisshy. I was a perfect temperature the whole afternoon / evening. This fabric is a 10/10 for me - it was worth every single cent I spent to buy it. Thanks to Silk World for sending me samples and being very helpful.”

  “Organza silk in rose tea. The photo on website was fairly accurate to what I saw on my mobile (samsung). Beautiful feel. No imperfections. Beautiful drape as pictured (love that the site does this with all the fabrics). Cut exactly to the requested size. Fast delivery too (Tas). And good communication with delivery as well. Definitely going to purchase from silk world again. Photo below has my rose coloured satin dress i am altering that the organza rose tea in the middle; fabric folded over four times.”

  “There were marks on the silk when it arrived. I emailed immediatley explaining the problem & they said they’d get back to me. A week later still hadn’t heard back UPDATE : they are sending out a replacement but I have to pay to return the damaged fabric. So, 2 metres of $40 /m fabric, has now cost me over $100.”
