Perfectly situated at the back of Lido Cinema and a walking distance from Swinburne Hawthorn campus, we came here with a group and we ordered a massive spread. While the pasta gets a lot of hype, the mains (Secondi) were honestly the highlight of the night. The Tagliata is a delight, a 300g beef rib-eye served with mushrooms and jus which was perfectly cooked. The Spigola alla Vicentina (barramundi on soft polenta with prosciutto-wrapped asparagus) was absolutely delicious. For the pastas (Primi), we had the Tortiglioni alla Vodka (rich and creamy), the Ravioli di Zucca (pumpkin with sage and sour cherries), and the melt-in-your-mouth Gnocchi al Ragu’ d’Agnello. We also had Caprese con Prosciutto (the heirloom tomatoes and stracciatella were so fresh) and added a side of Verdure (greens with guanciale). Great atmosphere, lovely service, and the perfect spot for a group lunch where you can share the whole menu. Highly recommend!

Is there anyone in Melbourne who still doesn’t know about this Italian gem? I’ve been here multiple times with different groups of friends, and every single visit has been a hit. When I heard the wheel cheese pasta was back, we booked immediately — definitely make a reservation, it’s always busy. For starters, the Wagyu carpaccio is a must-try. The thinly sliced raw wagyu is prepared almost like Italian cured meat — slightly salty, pleasantly chewy, and surprisingly unique. The arancini is also a solid classic, crispy outside and creamy inside. As for mains, you really can’t go wrong. The steaks, pasta, and ravioli are all worth ordering. Always ask about the daily specials — the T-bone we had this time was incredible. Huge portion, beautifully aromatic, and cooked medium-rare to tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. If there’s no special steak available, the Controfiletto on the regular menu is a safe and delicious choice. Pasta lovers shouldn’t miss the lobster pasta, seafood pasta, and especially the seasonal wheel cheese pasta in August — it’s practically on every table. Add shaved truffle for extra indulgence. Desserts and drinks are equally impressive. The tiramisu and panna cotta are well-balanced, not overly sweet, and easy to love. And a final shoutout to the service — even when busy, the staff are consistently warm and welcoming. It’s the kind of place you’ll happily return to again and again.

First time to visit this place. Came in for dinner with a friend. Upon entering the restaurant, we were loudly and warmly greeted by the staff, which is a good start and a great sign of positive vibes! The arancini was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and very tasty. Calamari was soft and a bit spicy—which was lovely! My friend had the linguini busara and I had the tortiglioni alla vodka. Both were very delicious! We also tried their tiramisu and pannacotta. Their Peach Perfect mocktail was indeed perfect. The staff were very accommodating—compliments to chef Joey and to the team John, Delfin, Marwell, and to the other 2 staff (the Italian guy who speaks Filipino and the beautiful lady who took our orders whom we forgot to get their names). Will definitely come back to try their other dishes!

Was craving some good Italian food and this place did not disappoint. First and foremost, the waiters of this establishment were immensely welcoming which was so lovely. We ordered Oysters, Polenta, Osso Buco and some Gnocchi. Every dish knocked it out of the park and my partner and I were very impressed. The waiters also recommended the panna cotta for dessert and we enjoyed it! Lovely lovely experience, we will 100% be back :)

At first i thought i don‘t find something. Everything Sounds so Special. But as the meal was Served i was amazed on How good it was! We also ordered some garlic bread and as i nearly finished the waiter brought me another one for free to clean up my Plate. The Service is amazing too. I cant find anything negative, except that the Fish smelled a lot (kitchen is Open). But please keep in mind that this is just my opionion and experience. Thanks for having us!
