  “Had breakfast at Morang in Hawthorn and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. We ordered some yummy dishes and they were absolutely delicious. Every dish coming out of the kitchen looked amazing and beautifully presented. The staff were lovely and very friendly, and the coffee was excellent — definitely some of the best in the area. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you’re in Hawthorn!”

  “My new favourite spot. The coffee is excellent (I’m particular!), the food is outstanding, and the portions are generous. Their dishes have house-made sauces, marinades, and gorgeous garnishes. The team are delightful and make you feel truly welcomed. PS: For great value, check out the Easy Grab menu (the egg and bacon roll is delicious) and their selection of share plates. A nice addition to the Hawthorn West shopping precinct; (next door to Hawthorn Travel). Breakfast, lunch and now dinner -*licensed.”

  “The Morang is a fantastic café with great food and generous servings. Their roast duck breast is really nice — tender, flavour-packed, and cooked perfectly. But the real star is their wagyu beef burger, which is really, really huge. It comes stacked with bacon, a fried egg, and a 150g beef patty, making it super hearty and incredibly satisfying. Juicy, rich, and full of flavour — definitely a must-try! A great spot if you love big portions and quality dishes.”

  “The food was good at The Morang, we had American Style Pork Ribs, Prawn Linguine, and some sharing plates side, Calamari and Taramasalata Dip. The sharing plate was really nice, served on a platter. We had a mocktail and Gin & tonic too. The restaurant was pretty quiet for a Sat evening, and service was pretty good. The waitress added another table next to us, to accommodate the plates of food we ordered. It was our 1st time at this restaurant.”

  “The Morang (a relatively new cafe / restaurant in Hawthorn) is an absolute gem!!!! The decor is tasteful and inviting. The staff are friendly, helpful and lovely. I thought there was a great variety of options across all of their breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. It stood out to me how affordable they've priced it considering what was on offer. My coffee was beautiful - so smooth, delicious and the perfect temperature to my taste. One of my top 3 in Melbourne now. I visited for lunch and went with the Grilled Barramundi by reccomendation. I am so glad I did, I was blown away. The curry sauce was creamy, vibrant and delicious. The Barramundi was fresh, succulent and cooked to perfection. I thought the beans, sweet potato and cherry tomatoes tied the dish together well, still thinking about tasty they were dipped in the sauce. Cannot wait to return to try more of their menu - it looks incredible! - J Brunch Gal”
