Excellent pathology clinic! I have chronic health conditions so have to get bloods drawn very regularly, this location is my go to! despite there being a few other pathology clinics closer to my house, I tend to travel a little further to come here because the staff here are very skilled - I almost never even feel the needle when I come here, and despite having difficult veins the staff here are always able to get my bloods done without any trouble. I'm honestly very surprised to see some of the negative reviews! as someone how has pathology work done here at least once a month I've never encountered anything but friendly, courteous, accommodating, and professional staff members! I've never had to wait more then 15mins if I go after the early morning rush, and in the afternoon there is usually no wait at all. Seeing as a lot of those poor reviews were left during peak covid, it makes me think the people leaving them were possibly a bit entitled and rude themselves. Critiquing frontline/healthcare workers cos you had to wait a little while or abide by distancing rules, during a pandemic, is gross... and says more about the person leaving the poor review :/ 5 stars! :)

My baby has had numerous blood tests at a variety of facilities and I have NEVER been told that if I refuse to hold a cotton wad to his arm (due to attempting to comfort my severely distraught kiddo) that I should PLEASE not come back to this facility....! Needless to say, I will not be going back to this place. I'm very, very disappointed, and sad too at the complete lack of empathy displayed by this staff member. Update: my husband phoned the branch and demanded to speak with the supervisor. It turns out that the staff member at fault was the supervisor, Mel! She apologised, saying that she should not have said that to me. Eventhough the other nurse who helped us, Andy, was wonderful; it is Mel's clear lack of empathy and her choice to focus on purely following procedure in order to "tick all the boxes", which means we will not be returning here.

Been here for a couple blood tests now and the staff have always been so so friendly. I get quite light headed after blood tests and they’ve always been so accommodating and patient with me. Often very quiet in the afternoons too which is great!

Staff are amazing but my god, just don’t even bother coming here. Deepdene must have the largest ratio of people on their deathbed in the greater Victoria area, because I have never been here without there being an hour plus wait because of all the barely breathing decrepit folks who can barely move or walk and waste the nurses’ time. Average wait time here is well over an hour. Keep that in mind

This has to be the best pathology. All their nurses are extremely experienced. They find your vein in one go. I have extremely thin veins and most of the lab can’t get it one shot. Plus they open 7:30 am on a Saturday.
