  “Been to Auterra Wine Bar many years ago and remembered the set menu was outstanding. Decided to visit again, booking was easy, service was quick and friendly. Food and wine was nice! The only complain is the signature dishes were not on the set menu. I understand it was my fault not reading through what's on the "Leave it to us" menu but I presume signature dishes like fish sando, steak, chocolate soufflé will all be included. I was still hungry after the set menu so ordered extra dishes and tried those dishes I wanted to try. Flavours was all great, just the portion is too small for a set menu in my opinion. Seating was very close, impossible to have a private conversation you can only chat freely when the table next to you is empty. Ambience of the bar was great tho, I'll probably try to sit on the high table next time since they were both by themselves.”

  “We found this wine bar from google, when we came in we were welcomed by the friendly staff and great atmosphere. It is such a great place to have a chat with great selection of wines. We also ordered food, the highlight for us was the aged duck that pairs nicely with the wine and the mashed potatoes. It is one of the best duck that I have ever had in Melbourne! Service was top notch, food and drink was great, what else can you ask for?”

  “Found Auterra through dining at Amaru and I must say this place has got a lot of potential. Food was nice, awesome wine list and relaxed ambience. Poor girl looking after us did the best she could but we could see they were a little understaffed as she was running between the bar, taking orders and seating guests. Overall though a nice and relaxed wine bar for good food and drinks.”

  “Shane and his team at Auterra Wine Bar were incredible. With just 48 hours’ notice, Shane arranged a private dining experience for 12 people, working with his team to create a curated menu and helping us select wines to pair with the food and the evening. No detail was overlooked, they even included friend’s name on the menu cards as it was her birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch, and they were also very accommodating in allowing us to bring a cake and tailoring the set menu to allow for the cake instead of the dessert. Throughout the evening, Shane was attentive and made sure we all had the most wonderful time. It was a beautiful birthday celebration. The food was exquisite, with incredible attention to detail in both flavour and presentation. Everyone had the best time and enjoyed every aspect of the evening. I would highly recommend Auterra’s private dining space to anyone looking to host a special occasion that feels seamless, thoughtful and easy!”
