Another great Instagram find. After seeing a few people post about the vibey outdoor seating at Albert’s, it quickly went on my list. I didn’t do a huge amount of research before visiting, so I was genuinely surprised to discover it’s tucked away on a tiny side street just off the main road — a true hidden gem. We visited on a Friday night and the place was absolutely buzzing. Every table under the veranda was full, mostly groups of girls, and the whole energy felt very much girls out on the town. Because we had a booking, we were seated inside, which is quite intimate with only a handful of tables. Cosy, warm and lively — the kind of space where you instantly feel part of the atmosphere. The standout for me was without a doubt the cocktails. Honestly, I’d come back just for drinks and be more than satisfied. We started with dirty negronis, served with a gloriously fat green olive. We loved them so much we ordered a side plate of the olives, which they happily brought out. Next up were the spicy margaritas — perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat. For food, we went with a selection of plates to share, which was the perfect approach. Oysters with house mignonette, house-made focaccia with cultured butter, cured meats with pickles, and the burrata paired with fennel jam, orange and basil oil. For mains, we shared the casarecce with vodka sauce and smoked ricotta, along with a generous 500g dry-aged beef rib eye — rich, indulgent and ideal for sharing. A fun, buzzy wine bar with excellent cocktails, great share food and a vibrant atmosphere. Albert’s is perfect for a lively night out with friends and will definitely be on my return list.

Albert’s has that intimate, wine‑bar feel inside, with plenty of outdoor seating for cooler days. Given it was a 43° day, we happily tucked into the cosy interior for a quick shopping‑break lunch. The prawn and crab toast with miso and sesame was fantastic, rich, crunchy and full of flavour, though just a touch on the salty side. The casarecce with vodka sauce and smoked ricotta, however, was pure heaven, silky, comforting and beautifully balanced.

A cute wine bar, awesome outdoor area to relax and catch up with friends. Small bites were nice but no stand outs. Friendly and approachable service!

Great short visit to Albert’s yesterday - excellent service by the staff and great atmosphere. Outdoor seating could be better but no big deal considering restrictions on the space.

This place is such a gem for a casual catch-up or a cosy night out. The place itself is quite intimate, with both indoor and outdoor seating that gives off a lovely neighbourhood vibe. It’s small but doesn’t feel cramped – more like a warm, welcoming space where everyone’s just there to relax and enjoy good food and great wine. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The menu is designed for sharing, which makes it perfect for hanging out with friends. We tried the octopus, pasta, and fish – all beautifully cooked and full of flavour. Their dishes are simple but elevated, focusing on good produce and honest cooking. One of the highlights is definitely their wine list. It’s extensive, featuring both local and international selections with something to suit every palate. Whether you’re after a crisp white on a warm afternoon or a bold red to end the night, they’ll have something you’ll love. Overall, this spot is the kind of place you go to when you want to feel like a local, sip on good wine, and share delicious food with friends in a cosy, lively atmosphere. Highly recommend for a relaxed evening out.
