Victoria Park is a great place where AFL events and more sports happen. Victoria Park was originally Collingwood’s home ground stadium but stoped being their home ground in 1999. Victoria Park has lots of facilities nearby and shops like a train station and more. There are many kind people at Victoria Park and for locals to meet up. Victoria Park also has a dog section for dogs to run around and walk your dog with lots of space. The Victoria Park dog section has a fence around it to keep dogs safe. Victoria Park barbecue area is great with shops nearby for food and also great While events are on. The newly added gym area is nearby to the barbecue and capable to perform many exercises on. Victoria Park has its own train station with a bridge that used to go from the train station to the stadium but is no longer there. Victoria Park train station is great for when events are on and has easy access and transport to get there.

Don’t come on Thursday night if you have a dog; there’s football training. Otherwise this is the best dog park in the area in my opinion. Heaps of dogs congregate from 4pm onwards. There’s tap water on-site. My dog loves this place!

This is my local dog park and it is top notch for a fully fenced large space where your dog can run free. The only down side is the amount of footy training which can be every day at a time when everyone wants to take their dogs out, 4:30-8pm most nights. If they left the lights on just a bit later it would be better

Great place for a run, walk, fly a kite or just get some fresh air. So lucky to have these types of open spaces around the city. I do hope that dog owners keep their furry friends under control though so that children can enjoy the space in safety.

The Yarra Council is pretty bad at communicating the availability of the oval to the local residents which is why it gets ⭐⭐⭐ only. Great to bring your dog for a run around and kids with BBQs and picnic spaces, until there is an event and the area is covered in fencing and advertisements or training that hasn't been publicly posted is in progress.
