  “We have been at LL Hawthorn since October last year, we moved from another centre. The new centre director Chris and the team have been amazing - super welcoming, always available to have a chat and attend to any issues and resolve them right away. They made a dairy free cake for my son’s birthday, supported his discomfort with playing soccer and assisted to work with nap time issues. They have a focus on learning and development over the kinder years. The educators have been fantastic both last year and this year and my kids are much happier here. Highly recommend LL!”

  “We have sent our girls to little lane from the ages of 1-3 for daycare and they have loved it. The staff are lovely and really care about the kids. The facilities are new and very clean and there is good communication with families via the storypark app which has been a relief for a new parent returning to work. The new manager is fantastic and has brought on a lot of new initiatives since joining (recently a Wheely Days where all the kids bring in their scooters or bikes to scoot around onsite with their class- so cute!!) We recommend!”

  “My son (2 and a half years old) has been enrolled at Little Lane in Hawthorn for about 14 months and we have decided to leave the centre in March 2020. Initially, we have been impressed by the new place and its setup: it has been sold very well to us. The facts are that the management is really focus on doing business and not developing kids’ skills. During the time that he was at Little Lane, we had 4 different directors including the last one, that has the title of “Area Manager”. Few of the managers have been good: in fact, they left after few months and the same happened for the floor staff. We experienced nice educators that slowly all disappear. Our son was not happy at all to go there, and he was not developing skills like other kids that go to different childcares. We decided to move him to a different centre (still in the same area) that is a community childcare, where families, and most important kids, are the real focus of the entire structure. My son quickly improved a lot in social skills, languages (he is bilingual) and, most important, he is a happy and healthy boy. At Little Lane, my family found: a bad management, many young and green staff at their first experience with young kids, not suitable food, and in general not a right place where a parent wants to send his/her child. I really recommend browsing all the alternatives before to enrol your kids to this centre.”

They tailor programs and activities to suit, provide excellent advice and guidance and are all round welcoming.   “My daughter has been going to Little Lane since she was 10 months old, and the staff are absolutely wonderful! Enza, Bushra and Nikki looked after her initially, and they still come and check in on her. Chris, Sonya, Jackie and Kelsey are lovely people, and you can tell they don't treat their work just as a job - they always go above and beyond in looking after the children. They are caring and observant, and have been very patient (with mum and bub!) when transitioning to daycare. I call to see how my daughter is going, and Chris usually gives me a detailed update, and it's never too much trouble. The admin staff are great - Mona, Preet and Aleesha who are usually at the front always have time for a quick chat with the kids. They've always answered all questions quickly, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble. Love the place, and very grateful to them for going above and beyond always!”
