  “OMG! A real local find on, hopefully, a v quiet night as this restaurant deserves an appreciative clientele. The small bites were perfectly sized, the Barramundi a GoTo dish. Chocolate mousse was delicious. Currently BYO only which makes for a good value for money meal out in v comfortable surroundings. Our waitress was delightfully attentive.”

  “We had a beautiful evening at Mowers. The setting is absolutely beautiful, cozy romantic and so unique. The food was fabulous. We ordered the schnitzel, steak and a side of the baked potatoes. All of the food was absolutely delicious! Service was also impeccable. It truly felt like a five star experience. Overall a beautiful night and we cannot wait to come back.”

  “This was the most amazing hidden gem in Deepdene. Food was a standout and we chose to share the mains and entrées which worked well. The steak, fish and lamb were superb and the Brussel sprouts were the best I’ve eaten. The waitress was super helpful with drinks being attended to throughout the evening. It was our first meal here, everything was delicious. We will definitely be back. The restaurant is also BYO at present which was great.”

  “A hidden "hole in the wall" that is well worth visiting. We'll be back. It is BYO only. The food is fine dining quality trading fancy plating for generous servings. The two dishes in the photo are - Lamb Rump, Koji, Butter Beans, Tomato $52 gf - Pork Chop Pan Fried, Seeded Mustard Sauce, Roasted Brussel Sprouts $52 gf The quality of both dishes (as well as the entrees we had) would have been well at home in any 1 Hatted restaurant and 2 Hatted if plated in a fine dining manner and reduced portion size (Since I can't "eat" the plating, I rather have the more generous portions) Do note the 15% surcharge on weekends.”

  “10/10 for me Went for a bday occasion & left with everyone satisfied. 🥄 Entree 🥗 Salad - good way to start the meal. came with candied walnuts & goat cheese which were a good combination 🍣Tuna tartare with Fried rice - has a bit of gochujang sauce on the tuna so it resembles yukhoe. The fried rice underneath was so crispy and umami. Highly recommend Scallops - came with chilli oil sauce. Very moreish and new flavour combination. Also recommend 🍽️ Mains 🥩 Porterhouse steak - the type of fatty that makes you so satisfied. Such a good texture to chew on. Pairs well with the lemon dressing salad. 🥩 Scotch fillet - didn’t make much of an impression compared to others but still pretty good. 🐖Pork loin chop - came with buttery whole grain mustard sauce that tasted like roux. Sauce was a bit heavy for me but only because I don’t enjoy cream type sauces that much. Pork was very soft and not too fatty. Brussel sprouts done well too. 🦆Lamb - this was the highlight. Incredibly tender & juicy. It was unlike any other lamb dishes we’ve tried before. If you’re getting one main this is it. Pair with red wine. Dessert 🍧 Exotic jelly - the chef explained that this is reversed hwachae. Consists of milk jelly, fruits, and watermelon juice. We enjoyed as we know its flavour and texture profile, but it is an acquired taste The head chef was so sweet, coming over to explain some of the dishes and asking if everything was alright. The server was attentive and filled our glasses at the appropriate timing. Could not fault this restaurant. They didn’t have any cake fees nonsense and were so accommodating. Will 100% come back on another occasion”
