  “Balwyn Childcare has been a second home for our family for the past five years, and as my youngest finishes up today, I can’t help but reflect on just how lucky we have been to be part of this incredible community. From the very first day, we knew this place was special. We toured multiple childcare centres before finding Balwyn, and it wasn’t until we arrived here that my daughter turned to me and said, “Ok, Mummy, you can go now. I feel safe here. Bye bye!” That moment said it all. The educators here are truly exceptional—not just in what they do, but in who they are. Iris has been there for both of my kids since day one, and the impact she’s had on their lives is immeasurable. She has taught them patience, confidence, and self-belief, and they absolutely adore her. We feel so incredibly lucky that she has been with them both along the way. Carol, as the owner, has built something truly admirable. She is kind, professional, and always accommodating to our needs. Her communication is fantastic, and she genuinely cares about every family that walks through the doors. A special mention to Michelle, who has a heart of gold and has given my children so much love and care—it has always reassured me knowing she was there. Mercy has been part of our journey from the very start, and my kids have loved every moment with Chloe and Cindy, especially Cindy’s engaging Chinese classes! One of my favourite things has been the weekly journal updates, which give us a glimpse into their days through beautiful photos and learning materials. Seeing the joy on their faces each week has always been a highlight for me! After five years, I can honestly say there isn’t a single bad thing to say about this place. The consistency of seeing the same amazing educators every day for so many years is a testament to how special this centre is. They nurture, teach, and love the children as if they were their own, and it shows in the way my daughter (now thriving in Grade 1) and my son (starting Prep next year) have flourished. Balwyn Childcare is more than just a childcare centre—it becomes an extension of your family. You will feel comfortable, supported, and reassured knowing your children are in the best hands.   “We started attending Balwyn Childcare when my son was only 11 months All the fears I had as a first time mother leaving my baby with strangers were quickly calmed by a group of warm and capable women, who took my son under their wings and cared for him like one of their own. The brilliant 5 year old he is has been shaped in part by their love and teaching and I am so grateful for all the support he has received. The kindergarten education has been truly excellent, my child can write all the letters and some basic words and has been really well prepared for school. I believe his transition next year will be much simpler thanks to the care the educators at BCC&K have put into his education. I would highly recommend this childcare and kindergarten to anyone looking for a wonderful community and a fantastic education for their children, as well as high quality long day care.”
