★★★★★“After being so anxious bringing my baby to the vet. 7 week year old Dexter. I walked out of the vets so confident, the way the love your pet and take their time and listen & provide you with all information, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you team 🖤”

★★★★★“We e been going to Greencross Ashburton for 7 or 8 years now. They’ve helped us with old pets and new pets and have always been so helpful and kind. I can’t recommend them high enough.”

★★☆☆☆“I’ve taken my dog Bambi to Greencross Vets for multiple health concerns, but over time I’ve become increasingly uncomfortable with the advice and handling of his care. Initially, I was told his knees required surgery when they first started to luxate. After doing independent research and consulting other sources, it became clear that his condition was still Grade 2 and did not warrant surgery at that stage. Later, I was advised that two of his teeth needed to be removed due to infection at the roots. When I requested a transfer of Bambi’s medical records to another vet, everything was sent except the dental records. Despite following up multiple times specifically requesting the dental X-rays, I was told everything had already been transferred, which was not the case. This lack of transparency was frustrating and concerning. Additionally, Bambi has had recurring ear infections that seem to alternate between his left and right ear without any long-term resolution, which has further affected my confidence in the ongoing management of his care. I believe pet owners deserve clear explanations, complete medical records when requested, and treatment recommendations that are proportionate and transparent. Unfortunately, my experience here has left me feeling uncertain and disappointed.”

★☆☆☆☆“I was very disappointed with Dr Germaine Yip’s treatment for my little dog. She didn’t examine my dog’s teeth properly as she was nippy. I had made a booking to learn how to brush her teeth by bringing a brand new dog teeth brushing set with me but I was just told that I should watch a YouTube clip. She charged me $109 for the consultation.”

★★★★★“Dr Ellie was attentive, conscientious and handled our nervous kitten with care and professionalism. Thank you also to the receptionists who welcomed us immediately so we could settle in before seeing the vet.”
