  “My first visit - it won’t be my last. A genuine authentic Aussie pub with no concessions to trying to modernise in a way that has ruined many places. I had the Sunday roast - far and away the best pub roast I have had in a very long time, maybe ever. Everything was perfect from the generous serve of beef with a genuine horseradish sauce, through to the two types of roast potatoes (one was extra crispy), on to a selection of vegetables cooked exactly to my liking. And the gravy was excellent - clearly not out of a packet. I followed the roast with a berry crumble and ice cream. It was good but not as perfect as the roast. The pub has a wide selection of beers on tap and the staff are friendly and efficient- all contributed to a really good evening.”

  “Out visiting a few pubs last Saturday with some mates and visited the Park for a beverage on our travel. Classic local pub vibe, good selection of beers and food to share. We shared Korean Fried Cauliflower, Salt & Pepper Calamari and Cheeseburger Spring Rolls. All were good and the lads will be back. Other pubs visited on our extended beer stroll were Rochester, Birmingham, Albion, Grace Darling, Le Bon Ton. Retreat and Yarra. Total walking distance just on 4.5km. Definitely get along to The Park, it is what a local pub is meant to be.”

  “This place is an institution! Always great food (standard parma and steaks are always top notch) and their specials and burgers are also excellent. Love the Pinot grigio they serve and tried their new British poutine, spicy Korean cauliflower and the steamed broccoli and beans were very well seasoned. A bit on the spenny side of things, but look, it's worth it. Great service, good vibes, if you can manage to get a seat then your golden. I just wish they had some shelter from the rain (or sun) for the smokers tables out front.”
