  “Quite a lovely inner suburb park, with paths, landscaped areas, and a very interesting playground. You'll also usually find some urban art worth checking out along the fences on the city side. There's at least one public bathroom just outside the park Princes Hwy. All in all, quite a nice park.”

  “Great running path following the railway fencing along alma park west between Alma Rd toward Princes Hwy and return. Very aggressive cyclists frequent this path who don't understand the law that cycling paths through Melbourne parks are actually shared zones for walkers, runners and cyclists not Lime scooters and bikes and wannabe Lance Armstrongs on bicycles 🙄 Vehicles of all kinds including standard bikes must always give way to foot traffic, keep to their left, slow down and use their bells to alert pedestrians. They dont like it but it's the law. If you want to walk your dog there is an off leash area west of the path and not on the path itself. Cyclists by law should be using the designated bike lanes on the streets surrounding, including all the way along Chapel Street and Alma Rd. That's what our rates as locals paid for. If you have an incident please refer it to Port Phillip council with times and dates and photo if possible because aggressive cycling throughout Melbourne's shared pathways has become nightmarish. If you've ever walked along Southbank boulevard you know what I mean. Pedestrian rights are quickly becoming encroached upon. Take care out there.”

  “I frequent this park for a few reasons. It's superb trees which I have taken many a photo of, well kept lawns, and an atmosphere with high spirits of dogs and their owners. It is such an inviting park.”
