★★★☆☆“Wednesday is $30 steak night. I was impressed with the interior of the restaurant which was fancier than I expected for a pub. The service however was pretty atrocious; staff were walking around aimlessly yet no one came to take our order, no one ever offered us water for the glasses that were on the table and we were ignored by several staff members who stared at us blankly upon arrival without asking if we wanted a table or had a reservation. Food wise the steak was very average and definitely not medium rare as requested. The chips were nicely seasoned and the mac and cheese croquette entree was pleasant enough but definitely not somewhere I will return in a hurry”

The spicy margarita is nice and, to my pleasant surprise, actually pretty spicy. The parma is a generous size for the price and pretty high quality. The prawn pizza was also good and great value at only $20 during their Thursday night pizza special.”

The veal schnitzel was just ok but in saying that l would still come back and try other items on the menu. Ordered a stout but received a pale ale.. perfect mistake as the pale ale was a nicer drop and bonus l got to keep both. Bonus they have very clean toilets. (See photos)”

Whilst the fish and chips was cooked well enough, the steak however was inconsistent - we wanted medium rare but what was served to us was well done in some parts and medium rare in some.”
