★★★★★“The station is new and includes many things, thou do miss mount Albert and Surrey hill stations, important upgrade and thou it's a bit to walk to shops, everall it does serve the job well and even talking to staff, they are friendly to talk to. Do recomand the station, even if it's newly open and few things left to be done, but overall it is a great improvement”

★★★☆☆“Modern, good-looking trench station. It has been rushed to get trains running, so at the time I visited it wasn’t fully finished. However, the trench wall really effects how the station looks. It has depressing grey colours which ruins the look. (They should paint it white). Another thing is that there are only like 2 seats per platform, which means a lot of empty wasted space. The speakers sound bad, especially for 2023. Apart from that, no complaints. Still a solid station though.”

★☆☆☆☆“Not even worth 1 star! Leaflet in letterbox advertised GRAND OPENING 22 May, 2023! Grand opening normally means a finished project, but I was deceived as Google Maps led me to station entrance surrounded by construction roadblocks, and the only parking is 2HR limited parking on the street! When one gets out of the car there's a big steel platform on the ground that is a tripping hazard to people parking or walking on the street (especially at night). The girl at the end of the street (in construction gear) confirmed there is no onsite carpark open, and she could not tell me if/when that would be! BUT WAIT, there's more! The entrance platform tv fails to show what train is leaving from what platform. Instead, tv states to listen for announcements (as per attached pic). There was certainly no announcements when I was there! The locals in the street must have laughed when they got the leaflet stating Grand Opening, yet seeing with their own eyes all the construction vehicles onsite, coming and going, construction roadblocks, and also seeing it all still gated off and no functioning carpark! If the Bulleen Park and Ride is anything to go by (which opened a few weeks ago), then I suspect Union Train Station won't be leak proof and any undercover parking will likely result in flooding!”
