★★★★★“After my diagnosis in august 2025, Ales explained thoroughly what needed to be done at the time, so I had a titanium disc replacement C5/C6 at Epworth Richmond, I highly recommend this hospital, the staff was amazing & so caring, thank you. Ales, you told me I would be 50 to 60% better you were correct, you did not let me down I have no pain in my neck, my right arm & shoulder is in good with no pain. You have excelled above my expectation; I am forever grateful to you. I can’t even tell you in words how exceptional you are! I am & will be forever grateful to you. I would like to tell people how you saved my life 10 years ago, I was unable to walk, I was so scared & you made me feel at ease at the time but I knew how skilled you were, so to all the people there wondering please do not even hesitate I highly recommend Dr Ales he is a top surgeon, probably the best in Australia. The outcome is outstanding & lifesaving. I cannot thank you enough For ever grateful Christine Siddons PN: your staff, assistant, anesthetics people are truly amazing, so thank you.”

★☆☆☆☆“Horrible experience with this so called surgeon. I have no idea how he has these stars on reviews but I would give him zero. I had one consultation and paid $460 for ten minutes of silence. I drove for an hour and a half each way with severe sciatica for a profession advise and consultation and this doctor did not talk. All I got from him was “it’s up to you” Really? Ofcourse it’s up to me but I’m here for a professional opinion, I’m expecting him to advise what are my options, what can I expect, what should I do. I’m here in pain please help “Well you can have a surgery or you can try injections, but they probably won’t help as they didn’t help you last time. If you don’t have a surgery it will probably come back and if you do it may still come back” That’s it. I’m looking at this person and thinking what is this. My GP has explained this surgery way better than him. Is he going to say something else? Nope! I walk out dumbfounded and I pay $460 for nothing but more pain from a long drive to waste my time and money. By the time I got home there were two emails from him. One was a quote, I swear a tradie would work harder for a quote. The other email was report for my GP which would have to be a copy and paste with some change in details. And he was already working on it while I was sitting there. That report was so professional as if he spend hours with me. He took screen shots of my scans and typed things that he never spoke to me about. “We discussed this and she understood” “I advise this and that” No you didn’t! More two thirds of those things in the report he never mentioned at all He asked me if I tried a belt and hydrotherapy and I said that I didn’t. That was it on the topic In the report he says that he explained that he isn’t opposed to these. He never told me that would benefit me or anything other than ask if I tried. He reports that we discussed exercise and weight loss. No, he never mentioned and I’m not overweight to begin with so this would have been a copy and paste from someone else’s report. To think that I chose to go and see him based on his reviews is a big question mark how true and accurate these are. I don’t know what he is like as a surgeon and I’ll never find out because he is definitely not someone I would trust for a surgery, but I’m pretty sure that surgeons aren’t supposed to act like that and charge a fortune for few minutes and give you no information at all Huge disappointment for me and definitely no recommendation, but go and see yourself if you feel like wasting a lot of money By the way this is the first ever bad review I’m leaving for anyone, not that kind of person, but just couldn’t keep it to myself as I feel that this is way too important not to say something”

★★★★★“After doing extensive research, we chose Neurosurgeon Dr. Ales Aliashkevich from Mineuro for my father's Right L5/S1 spinal decompression surgery — and it was, without a doubt, the best decision we could have made. From our very first in-depth consultation, we knew we were in exceptionally capable and professional hands. Dr. Aliashkevich was incredibly supportive, clear, and to the point, which gave us tremendous confidence moving forward. The entire process was seamless and conducted with the highest level of care and expertise. The outcome of the surgery far exceeded our expectations. The procedure was performed with remarkable surgical experience, resulting in minimal postoperative discomfort and a significant improvement in my father's mobility and overall well-being. We truly can’t thank Dr. Aliashkevich enough for his experience, skill, and compassionate approach. He is, without question, the best neurosurgeon in Victoria. If you're looking for a world-class specialist, look no further. 11/10 highly highly recommended!”

★★★★★“I had debilitating lower back and sciatic nerve pain for many many years to the point when I was in agony every day. 8 months ago I underwent L5/S1 ADR surgery with Dr Aliashkevich. It brings tears to my eyes when I think of how much this has changed my life. I am forever grateful for the day I had the first consult with Ales. Last weekend i managed to solo hike from Harrietville to the summit of Mt Feathertop (largely in the snow) carrying a 25kg backpack. I never thought this would be possible again. Words do not come close to the gratitude I feel for Dr Aliashkevich. I will be eternally grateful. BR, Dennis”

★★★★★“On 19 October 2024, I underwent C6/C7 disc replacement surgery with Dr. Aliashkevich, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Before the surgery, I suffered from severe pain, numbness, pins and needles, and discomfort in my neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. Now, just six weeks post-surgery, I feel like a completely different person, with almost no symptoms and continuous improvement. What truly stands out about Dr. Aliashkevich is his thoughtful and conservative approach. He only recommends surgery when it is absolutely necessary and ensures you have a clear understanding of realistic outcomes. In my case, he predicted a 40% improvement in pain and symptoms, yet I’ve experienced a remarkable 98% improvement. Dr. Aliashkevich is incredibly thorough, conducting comprehensive tests before making any recommendations. His bedside manner is excellent, and he treats surgery as a last resort, which gave me immense confidence in his care. I highly recommend Dr. Aliashkevich for anyone seeking expert, compassionate neurosurgical care.”
