  “My son attended this daycare from around 12 months old until 23 months old before we relocated overseas. I initially wanted to send him to a smaller community daycare but was very underwhelmed after touring several in the area. I decided to try Greenleaves and instantly fell in love with the bright, large, open spaces. All the staff, including the chef, knew every child by name. Our sensitive boy was so well cared for and as a first time mum- so was I. I will always be grateful to Nahed (the room leader) for her kind, warm leadership. Greenleaves also has excellent parking (most of the others in the area don’t have any) and typically have the option of extra casual days which was extremely beneficial for our situation. It’s only now that my son is at a different day care (overseas) that I really appreciate all the effort the staff went to creating different activities for the children each day and the outside contractors providing dance lessons/yoga etc. If I could send my child back to Greenleaves- I would tomorrow!!”

  “We have had such a wonderful experience with Greenleaves Early Learning centre in Richmond. From day one, the customer service has been outstanding - the team are warm, approachable, and always willing to help. They really feel more like family in a very short period of time. Most importantly, the care and attention they give has been incredible. The educators genuinely nurture your child development, creating a safe, fun and supportive environment for your child to thrive. I couldn't be happier with the level of dedication and professionalism shown by staff. Its such a relief as a parent to know my child is in such capable and caring hands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

  “Originally I was giving this a 3* review aa the regular staff in the rooms were good, but after 2mths at our new centre 3* is too much. If I was reviewing only the centre management I'd give it 0*. I note a lot of the really great staff have left over the past few months. When I asked a few why and they said management is not supportive of them. We recently moved out child to a new centre and should have done it sooner. Our child had been at this centre for 16mths and i wish we moved them away much sooner. Simple things were such big requests or challenges to arrange compared to our new centre. :- Normal "edible" food, ie meat based lunches, food that doesn't look like gruel. and dairy based yoghurt was a recurring request. A lot of the cooking is very basic and simple and is a sloppy casserole or tofu curry or dry and bland muffins lacking salt, dairy or fat. Most meals particularly in the downstairs rooms looked very unappealing. Normal food is not normal here :- Applying a prescription nappy cream for a rash that occured from staff wiping too much Inspite being told not to. The centre tried to say they couldn't use GP prescribed ointment and required a few discussions with head office before the GP advice was followed :- when communicable diseases where in the centre like Hand Foot Mouth, there would be kids visibly sick with it but no communication was made to the families until I contacted Head Office I found the centre manager loves to talk at you in agreeance and understanding of your concerns but wouldn't actually follow through. I'd often leave after raising a concern feeling talked at rather than listened to. Everything in this place seems to be hard work and the number of times I'd leave frustrated with the place was way too high. Don't be fooled by the great outdoor space upstairs. In winter once it rains it has really bad drainage and the kids will be stuck in side for a week going stir crazy waiting for it to dry. The downstairs rooms often felt more of a baby sitting service with kids sitting around looking bored as anything and staff not paying a lot of attention to engage them in activities. More often than not come pick up time my child was itching to leave and kids standing at the door asking for mum or dad. From the weekly availability emails and observing bored kids not being interacted with this centre seemed more interested in filling the rooms with as many kids as possible rather than attending to the children who were there and making sure they retained the best staff in the rooms When I compare this to our new centre the kids are interacted with so much more, my child almost needs to be convinced it's time to come home and the staff are so attentive to their needs. Our new centre does normal food which the kids love, things like sandwiches, pizza, roast i.e edible food There are some great centres out there, I wish we found our current one first”

  “Our daughter has been at Green Leaves for 2.5yrs. The centre director leads a fantastic team there. Our daughter enjoys many supportive and positive relationships with the staff in all areas of the centre. The kinder room teachers and educators are fantastic and they’ve just started a Bush Kinder program which has been great. The in house chef not only provides delicious food for the kids, she makes an effort to get to know the kids and their families and is a great mentor. The centre facilities are new and very spacious. Highly recommend!”
