iven the ratings and how busy it gets, I was expecting to be a bit more impressed. Started with the spring rolls. Flavour was decent, but for the price and the size, which were on the smaller side, it felt a bit underwhelming. Moved onto the vermicelli. The noodles weren’t quite the texture I’m used to from places in Footscray or Richmond, something just felt off. The sauce that you usually pour over was also very sweet. I only used about half to be safe, but even then it was pretty overpowering. Ended up mostly picking out the pork, which was cooked alright but lacked a bit of flavour and that proper char or BBQ hit. One small positive was the glass with ice for the Coke Zero, which was a nice touch. Service wise, being seated and then directed to order through a QR code felt a bit impersonal. Most Vietnamese spots in Melbourne are quick, direct, and take your order on the spot, so this felt a bit different. Might just be the style of the area. Overall, it was average for me, especially compared to other Vietnamese spots around Melbourne.

OUTSTANDING Vietnamese restaurant in Melbourne! ☆ Pros: Biggest juicy meat portion u can ever find for $21!! It has clear CHARCOAL grilled flavour. Very hard to find another restaurant like this. - Highly recommend: Main "Bun Cha", Pork Chop rice ☆ Cons: I was going to leave the restaurant due to long waiting time but the food turns out to be worth the wait. To apologise, they gave me a complimentary drink. Should book ahead.

I tried the Pho #22. medium rare wage beef & sous vide beef brisket. As a Vietnamese American that’s been to Vietnam and been to over a dozen Vietnamese restaurants across the world, this place was really good the broth was nice and tasted authentic. The brisket was also nice and tender. The broth could have been a bit hotter but everything inside the pho blended well together. Only thing that was strange is this restaurant didn’t provide bean sprouts, fish sauce or any of the fixings other Vietnamese restaurants would provide when you would order pho, (I’ll add a photo so you can see) the service was also a bit lacking, (yes I know it was busy that’s universal at most Vietnamese restaurants across the world)., we got our food first before we got utensils, we had to wait about 30ish mins to be seated cause the place was packed so understandable., but It would have been cool if the waiter just stopped over to replace the water or lay down utensils first. Overall tho. I would definitely return and would love to try some of their other items. 8.9/10

Everyone says this is the place for the best pho in town — and obviously, we had to find out for ourselves. Verdict? 100% confirmed. The pho was next level: deeply aromatic, rich, and the kind of bowl you think about long after the last spoonful. The bao buns absolutely delivered too — soft, flavour-packed, and seriously satisfying. Add the small, cosy setting and genuinely friendly service, and you’ve got a spot that’s effortlessly cool without trying too hard. Definitely one we’d recommend!

First time trying this Vietnamese spot on Commercial Road just off Chapel Street — what a find. Came in after the gym and an ice bath, and the chicken pho was exactly what I needed. Clean, rich, and perfectly balanced — honestly one of the best phos I’ve had in a while. Friendly service, relaxed vibe, and just an overall great experience. Definitely coming back.
