Rude and obnoxious when trying to give a bag of good donations. Did they think I was going to give junk when carrying a $5000 handbag? Either way he riffled through it umming and aahing handed me back a few hangers saying they wouldn’t take them. I said well can you throw them out then as I wanted to look around the shop. I should have taken my designer items that i donated back then and there. Instead walked out and did my op shopping up the road spending $85 at salvos.

Just had one of the rudest people serving me at the counter. As soon as I went up to pay for my item which was a large amount of money she had a terrible attitude with me and was very impatient while I was getting my card ready to pay and then almost forgot to add my discount from the card they gave me last time and was annoyed when I asked her to add the discount. I usually enjoy shopping here but was very disappointed this time. I understand these are volunteers but they should be kind to the customers

The prices have become insane here. Being a student, I can't afford to buy first hand, and once upon a time op shopping was meant for people like me. Where the shop receives donations for free, and prices them so that people who need them can afford them. Why am I looking at a damaged necklace with no branding priced at $100. This is abysmal. Of course this is just like the other op shops but can you please look into this? I'm actually appalled.

Always find something special at this store... a wide range of brands, including some designer labels. Kids' picture books are $1, and some adult fiction are just 50 cents. This Vinnies no longer stocks furniture. (Go to the Oakleigh store). Most staff are helpful. However, there is an assistant manager named Debbie who treats customers with contempt. Her exchanges with volunteers are no better...all under the guise of charity. Pricing is fair given. However, be careful as quality control has dropped recently. I was told by Debbie they do not check puzzles or games, yet they secure these items and label it 'AS IS'. Donations are gratefully received ... easy access via side street parking for offloading.

Not as big as the Moorabbin store and even though it's small, this St Vincent de Paul Society store just opposite Malvern Railway Station, is an impressive op shop and well stocked. It offers a good selection of affordable pre-loved goods including women's (lots), men's (but limited) and children's clothing, shoes, kitchenware, glassware, artwork, and a huge and good selection of books. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and offers great service. Check out the photos and you'll see the range of goods in this store. It's a must visit op shop in Malvern. Highly recommended.
