  “Took my uni son and his mate out for tea. Absolutely huge place. We went on a Friday night at about 7.30. ( recommend you book ahead). Place was absolutely packed with people. Great food and good selection. Vegetarian meals available as well as steak and pizza. Boys had Parma, salad and chips and the meals were huge! Which was great as they devoured their meals! My mother and I shared a beer battered whiting and chips with salad meal between us and we couldn't finish as it was such a large serving! 😆. Lovely and fresh food. Beverages of all types available. Main Meals range from $30 ish to $40 ish. Live music and we had a DJ start up doing great beats at about 8.30 I think. Outside heated seating area or inside areas were available. Beer garden and more that the boys told us about but we didn't see. Staff were lovely. Not the place for an intimate quiet evening on a Friday evening after exams and coming up to Christmas but we had a lovely meal visiting the kids. Small wait time for meals but that was to be expected with such a crowd. Bit of shouting and loud talking to be heard over the hustle and bustle but this was obviously a very happy and younger style pub... although at 52 and 73 we didnt feel out of place with our 20yr old uni guests. Would definitely go here again but probably with the boys. We would choose something a little less noisy. Again though, it was a Friday and Christmas time etc. (Late November 2025). Definitely would recommend and enjoyed spending time with the kids at a place they felt 💯 comfortable in and nice to see them tucked into a good meal! No pictures sorry. Plenty of parking inside too.”

  “Came here for a birthday of a close family member. It is your standard rsl. Food is pretty good for an rsl, and the meat raffle was a lot of joy and fun for all involved! I won a bottle of white wine and cannot wait to get stuck into it! Parking was quite difficult however this could be due to the multiple cricket matches going on. Overall nothing crazy special but nothing too bad either! Would come back for a solid little meal.”

  “My wife and I arranged to have my wife's 70th birthday celebration at the East Malvern RSL. It was a spacious light filled venue. Great view out the large windows onto native parkland and bush. Kerri was very easy to work with prior to the party. She recommended a selection of their very tasty finger foods. On the day, Kerri had tables set up, and helped hand out the food, as well as arrange the feature table flowers, food and glasses.”
