  “Tring out restaurant in Melbourne during the Labour Day long weekend: Guljak Rhapsody K-Food, a Korean restaurant in Kew. As soon as we walked in, we saw a big screen playing K-pop MVs, and there's an outdoor beer garden in the backyard—it's full of nightlife vibes! We ordered the beef bulgogi hot pot, corn cheese, half-half fried chicken, and rose topokki. The flavors were all great, especially the beef in the hot pot which was marinated really well—savory and sweet. The rose topokki had a very unique flavor; you could taste a hint of floral notes! All the tableware and the stove are stainless steel, which instantly gives off that Korean drama feel, doesn't it? It really reminded me of eating at street stalls in Korea. I especially want to commend this place for being exceptionally clean—neither the floors nor the tables and chairs were greasy.”

  “Came here for lunch withand was honestly impressed. The mala fried chicken was the highlight — super crispy outside, juicy inside, and the spice actually has a nice numbing kick (not just sweet chilli). Definitely recommend if you like real heat. We also tried the original fried chicken and a beef hot pot. The chicken was well fried without being greasy, and the hot pot felt very homestyle and comforting. The vibe gives authentic Korean pocha energy — casual, great for sharing, perfect with beer. Will definitely come back with friends next time.”

  “I had such a great experience at Guljak Rhapsody. The food was flavorful, comforting, and perfect for sharing. We ordered the King Corn Cheese, which was creamy, cheesy, and slightly sweet a great starter. The Half & Half Boneless Chicken (Garlic & Kung Pao) was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. The Rose Topokki was rich and creamy with a nice balance of spice, while the Chuncheon Dakgalbi was smoky, spicy, and absolutely delicious. Adding the fried rice for an extra $5 was totally worth it. Drinks like Asahi and Korean iced Dabang coffee paired really well with the food. The overall vibe was casual and fun, perfect for catching up with friends. Highly recommend for anyone craving Korean street food in Australia!”

  “Hidden neighbour gem 🥳 We ordered the following: - rose chicken tteokbokki ($28) 🍜 - garlic chicken ($36) 🍗 - fried sweet potato ($6) 🍠 🍗 The chicken is an absolute must get! The batter is so light and crispy. It almost tastes like there are cornflakes on the outside of the chicken pieces. The garlic is so fragrant and a little sweet too. I also love the fried tteokbokki pieces mixed in with the chicken and garlic glaze. Unfortunately we devoured it before we could take a photo. 🍜 The rose tteokbokki was as expected. We chose spice level 2 just incase it would be too spicy but definitely could have went with the max spice. 👩The service is great and the staff are friendly. 💰 Given the servings, we do think that the food is comparatively pricier than other joints however I think it’s worth making this a destination if you want to make sure your dinner has a 100% probability of being delicious. Overall we give this place: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 - 4.5 stars”
