★★★★★“The station is conveniently close to Swinburne University, providing easy access for students to travel. However, it can get quite crowded during rush hours. The area around the station is bustling with many shops.”

★★★★★“If one is interested in Edwardian Architecture, Glenferrie, Hawthorn is the place for your walking tour. Besides it has a wide range of eating and shopping outlets. If Malaysian Street food is your favourite, visit NAN YANG KOPITIAN located less than 50 m from Glenferrie Railway Station Ticket Office. Menu prices doesn't leave a hole in your pocket with a good serving size. A Public Swimming Pool and Cinema Hall (Lido) is located not far from the Train Station as well.”

★☆☆☆☆“Had an absolutely terrible experience with the man working the night shift tonight. I came around 11:30 on the 03/10/24 asking for help with my concession form. This station is located right next to a university so this is not something staff here should be unfamiliar with! I turn up to the counter and wait for his service, he is no where to be seen at the desk. He then appears out of a little room behind the desk and starts speaking to me. He sees the concession form in my hand and starts giving me really bad attitude then scolding me that I should not be doing this at this time. His rudeness repulsed me to the point where I didn’t even want to go ahead with the concession form with him (which in all honesty is what he would have wanted). This is all because of the “laminator needing time to warm up” SO WHAT!? He’s literally doing nothing at this time of night. I personally have an incredibly busy work schedule and this was the most convenient time for me and was urgent. instead of being rude like this why can’t he do his job? It is even incredibly quiet, what else would he have to do with his time? He’s paid to HELP people and does the complete opposite! Be careful if you see him. I plan to avoid him at all costs in the future, usually the workers understand basic customer service.”

★☆☆☆☆“I had a disappointing experience with the railway station counter member. His attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming, making the whole process even more unpleasant. Overall, it was a frustrating and unpleasant experience dealing with him. He was bald-headed tall man with a black colour Metro jacket.”
