  “We visited Billy Lids Hawthorn today to celebrate a fifth birthday, and the whole experience was fantastic. The facilities are excellent. Everything is clean, well maintained, and feels very safe for children to play, which makes it easy for parents to relax and enjoy the day. What impressed me most, though, were the staff. The owner was behind the coffee machine, clearly juggling multiple birthday parties and a steady stream of orders, yet she remained completely unflappable. She was kind, generous, and never seemed stressed, even while accommodating everyone’s needs with warmth and efficiency. The entire staff were kind and generous and the food was excellent! It is rare to see that level of professionalism and genuine care. Our party ran smoothly from start to finish, and everyone had a wonderful time. I could not recommend this place highly enough for children’s parties or family visits.”

  “Billy Lids is a cozy indoor playground that’s not huge but has plenty to keep the kids happy. The equipment isn’t brand new, but everything works fine and feels safe. It’s a great spot if you want to pick the kids up early from kindergarten and give them a fun change of scenery without breaking the bank - entry is fairly cheap. You can grab a coffee and even order some dumplings while they play. All in all, a solid little place for a low-key outing. Nothing fancy but it "works"”

  “I recently hosted my son’s 4th birthday party at Billy Lids, and I can’t say enough about how amazing the experience was! From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. A special shout-out to Chin, who made the day extra special for us. Chin’s attention to detail, enthusiasm, and warm personality created such a positive atmosphere. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about making your event unforgettable, and Chin did just that. The venue itself is fantastic for kids. My son and his friends had an absolute blast with all the activities. Thank you to Billy Lids and Chin for making my son's 4th birthday a day we will always remember!   “Update: 1/12/24: The staff here are amazing, I recently had a goodbye party for my son. The kids were a little excited at first and got a bit crazy… Just use a mum voice 😂! The staff were so good with communicating, very hospitable, and communication on the phone was also very thorough! Still highly recommended!! Previous review: What a wonderful revamp of this place! After 3 years away we attended for a birthday celebration and the changes to this place is incredible! The use of all the space now, they have a party room, the closed off area is now an open huge bouncy castle open to everyone, I highly recommend, it’s so clean, bright and so much fun!”
