I trained there for about 4 years, including at the old Moorabbin gym before it moved here. Mark, the owner and head instructor, is a wealth of knowledge and long time practioner of Krav Maga. Class sizes are smaller than you'd find in a big commercial Krav gym, but that means you get a lot more one-on-one time with the instructors, rather than just following along and they giving you guidance a few times during a lesson (like I have seen in other gyms). Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, great for beginners and returning participants. There are seperate classes for beginners, intermediate and beyond, and they run at different times during the week. I would definitely recommend giving Krav Maga (and Elite Self Defence) a go if you've ever wanted to give a practical, real-world based martial arts a go.

I started my journey with Krav Maga about 4 years ago which included 2 years of Covid but to their credit ,our fully trained instructors aided with Zoom lessons kept us up to date the best they could. Now back in the gym I enjoy the lessons, camaraderie, fitness, building my confidence knowing that the skills taught to us will help overcome a threat, mind you at 70 years of age and a Blue belt now(age is not a barrier), I have to give full credit to our Krav instructors and fellow training partners. Five stars is not a high enough credit, I fully recommend to anyone considering doing Krav to come join us .
