★★★☆☆“A fairly dreary setting. My neighbour Craig and I used to walk here before the unsealed paths and undulating surfaces played havoc with our arthritic knees and hip injuries. Once, a small boisterous dog tried to harass my neighbour Craig who promptly lined it up and punted it at least 35 metres through two well placed gums. It was a beautiful punt, dead straight with a graceful backwards spin, not too fast as to look amateurish. Nor slow. As it sailed through the gums, somewhere somebody yelled “goal!” The dog’s owner was so impressed by the kick that they were unworried their small dog had been punted so firmly - and so far! An otherwise uneventful walk. 3 stars.”
