Wonderful park with oodles of open space for walking, watching birds, enjoying the serenity. Good hills for moderately challenging walks. Tram restoration urgently needed in the playground... Sad to see it looking so dilapidated. *!* Excellent news about the old trams - removed 20/08/2025 with replacements arriving in the next few days 😁🚎

Attended a Memorial service held at the Wattle Park Chalet. As this was the first time to this place we were really impressed as the building has a great ambience which would be excellent for other functions like Birthday Parties or even Weddings. We were served hot and cold finger foods and there is plenty of space for at least 200 people. Plenty of Carparking all close to this Chalet. Would recommend a visit to check this place if you are organising a function as we were pleasantly surprised with the amenities this place had to offer.

A great oasis in the middle of suburbia. Great for dog friendly walks, picnics, BBQs and refurbished heritage trams.

Expansive, but not particularly attractive park. There's an amazing kid's playground with a tram theme, scattered wooden sculptures of local wildlife and a handsome building (called a chalet) at its core. Plenty of options to walk or run.

A beautiful spot for a walk. Wattle bloomed early this year 2024. Best time is late August to Early September. A nice easy walk. Large playground for children.
