Loved the upbeat music, the row of lucky charm cats and the art deco light shades and decor. 90 minute sitting was an adequate amount of time to eat the meal. Given 10 minute warning before cut off which was helpful. The food was clean, fresh, healthy and of good quality. My friend and I shared the pot belly roulade and wagyu steak. Both good but I preferred the wagyu because it was a little bit more tender. Other stand outs for me was the miso soup with a beautiful tasty radish and the fresh and soft boiled egg. Intend to re- visit and maybe try something else on the menu. Maneki is a new establishment. Please don’t change, unless it is to change/add new items on the menu.”

We ordered the chicken katsu teishoku, wagyu and pork skewers but the star of the night was the tempura tendon. So crispy and flavourful. Even better than the ones I’ve had in japan! The skewers melted in our mouth. We are not drinkers but we ordered the okinawa matcha tequila nori cocktail, it was a good experience. Staff were friendly too. 10/10 experience definitely coming back!”
