Coburg Farmers Market has a great community feel and a nice selection of stalls, but it can be a bit hit or miss. Some produce is excellent, though prices are often on the higher side compared to other local markets. Parking and crowds can also make the experience less enjoyable at times. Worth a visit if you’re after fresh, local goods, but not always the most convenient or best value option.

“The yellow oranges and fresh carrots were incredible! I’d recommend it to everyone — you should definitely check it out!”

I really feel like I've made it doing my weekly shop here with my partner, my dog, and all the other smug locals. I fill my fridge with fresh veggies from Thriving Foods Farm for much less than I would spend up the road at Terra Madre, plus the produce is fresher and lasts longer. The fruit family sell crisp, sweet, fragrant apples and I occasionally splurge on some exotic mushrooms. But the real reason I go is to see Jay from Better Now Bakes, for the best vegan treats around!

Bring a picnic blanket! Lovely late night atmosphere and entertainment. Absolutely loved the night market, would love to see it more often. What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Great amenities and different vendors!

Really hard to find parking in this older area of Melbourne and hard to navigate through because of many one way streets. The stall holders are all pleasant and friendly but unless you have deep pockets, don't expect any bargain prices. Everything is way overpriced even if the products are great quality. Even the hot food costs an arm and a leg so the trip should be treated as a special occasion and save up for the visit. The stalls vary from week to week, so I recommend going online to see what stalls are available especially if you are searching for something specific.
